Re:Me

The world has changed so much, it’s more important than ever to help employees feel they belong to a company that cares.

With the world changing as much as it has, the most important thing for your clients to remember is this: employees are searching for a sense of belonging and employers that care for them as an individual.

With the help of our latest research, you can start the conversation about how they can achieve this. Our Re:Me research has four main areas to explore, which you’ll find below. And, over the coming weeks, we’ll be updating this page with our research findings for each area as well as more, engaging content. So do check back regularly.

Recognise

It’s important to recognise that helping employees feel they belong to a company that cares is the ultimate goal. So it could be time for employers to recognise the gaps in their offering.

Realign

The way people are working is changing, so now could be a good opportunity for employers to realign expectations by revisiting the values that drive positive relationships.

Reassure

A crucial step clients should consider taking is reassuring employees that their basic needs are met, especially when it comes to support for their families. It’s about showing commitment.

Redefine

It would benefit employers to redefine what they offer and segment their employees. This can help to deliver packages for like-minded groups, so employees get more tailored solutions.

Recognising staff as individuals

The world has changed quite a bit recently, including the workplace. This led us to conduct some research into what has shifted for organisations and helped us identify opportunities for employers to reconnect with their teams and harness a culture of belonging.

What we discovered were the 4 Rs every employer should be aware of: recognise, realign, reassure and redefine. Within each of these four Rs, we explore how and why organisations should strive to recognise staff as the individuals they are. And why it’s crucial to continually consider their changing needs in order to drive greater trust, care and productivity.

How the pandemic has shifted attitudes

Our Re:Me report explores why understanding personal values and requirements must start with looking at employees as individuals, adapting where possible to realign this shift in values following the pandemic, to create a sense of belonging.
